There are daily pronouncements regarding the ultimate solution for RFID integration in the consumer product packaging process. To date all have relied on various applications of pressure sensitive labels. Initial implementations will be executed using that proven technology.

Fusion Concepts, Inc. recognizes though that future generations of RFID implementation can not satisfactorily rely on that foundation. High cost, work in process inventory (WIP) and extra steps are all inherent in the PS tag solution.

Recent innovations in conductive inks have provided encouraging results and leading experts believe that the real breakthrough with RFID tagging will come when tags are printed directly on the product or critical component.

At that point virgin product with virgin tags will need to be written as they are packaged. Fusion's patent pending Read and Feed™ technology will be there.
