Pouch & "3D" Feeders

Pfankuch's friction feeders, particularly those equipped with the innovative self compensating "KD" drive system can handle a variety of product thicknesses up to 3/8". Pfankuch feeders will even handle up to 1" thick pieces, either using the same compromise method that other manufacturers espouse with their friction feeders, or with the PSA shuttle feeder.

However certain products, particularly the increasingly common premium pieces require a different method. Pfankuch offers the PCU feeder for those applications. Available in stainless steel and a variety of configurations, the PCU feeder cuts rather than bursts, eliminating many of the complications associated with bandoleer feeding.

For pouches that can't be fed with a friction feeder (not many - the ASB series of friction feeders is used for feeding, counting, inserting and tipping a variety of tablet, tea, cosmetic and other pouches and sachets) Pfankuch also offers the VAB pouch feeder.
