The machine largely automates the process, relying on manual intervention only for the product loading phase. This blend of automation and manual intervention makes the machine most flexible for handling a variety of different products for different industries.

For flat products, and for companies whose volume or push to reduce per package costs justify the investment, the Pfankuch VP wrapper is a fully automated alternative to be used to create pegable and resealable packages.
