Pegable plastic bags are becoming more and more popular with retailers and product manufacturers because they are attractive, less expensive than blister packs and easy to fit into “plan-a-grams.” The only drawback with pegable bags is the high minimum quantities associated with traditional flexo-printed bags. The first option is appropriate for companies with a variety of similar products which are packed in similar bags, often with common brand graphics, but with each type requiring product specific UPC and detail information. Fusion can help plan a combined flexo print run and then customize small and specific numbers of bags with the appropriate UPC info using thermal transfer printing during the conversion process. This flexible and innovative approach brings you the best of both worlds: you get great-looking, flexo-printed quality bags, while you keep costs and lead-times down by circumventing the need to meet minimum order quantities for each item. Thermo transfer customization has been proven to be a very effective way for many of our clients to get what they want without being forced to purchase huge quantities of flexo printed bags from their printers.
